​Hanoi is a bustling city with a beautiful blend of old and new throughout everyday life. The narrow streets of the Old Quarter are filled with food stands and street vendors to satisfy every notion you’ve ever had about the “real Vietnam”.

Boasting some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in and beautiful large rooms, Flipside offers facilities and services to please everyone. From backpackers to flashpackers, to couples wanting the atmosphere of a hostel with the privacy and comfort of a hotel, all travellers are catered for here.

​There is a quadruple room for groups of friends, a double room with private bathtub on the balcony for flashpackers or couples and there are a variety of dormitories for the everyday backpacker.

All dorm beds come with lockable storage, individual reading lights and a personal charge station. All rooms are air-conditioned and have fast, reliable Wi-Fi on every floor! The shared bathrooms are spotlessly clean with hot showers and awesome water pressure.

​Of course, no hostel would be complete without a wicked little place to kick back and enjoy a beer at the end of a long day exploring. Well, Flipside has you covered there too! The rooftop bar is funky, chilled and the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink or watch the sunset. ​There aren’t too many places in Hanoi where you can experience the city from above, but this bar is one of them!

​​Breakfast is included in all room rates and with an offer of delicious pancakes or eggs on toast, you can head out for the day with a full stomach, ready to enjoy the city. The bar also offers a great drinks menu with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices all at great prices. Of course the daily Happy Hour right on sunset doesn’t hurt either!

Flipside also offer a range of tours and services such as their new motorbike journey into the far north of the country or their group dinners to the local snake village. The staff are friendly and welcoming and offer plenty of information such as museum opening hours, restaurant suggestions and where to find the best nightlife.

As if all of this wasn’t enough to convince you to stay here, Flipside is also giving back to the local communities in northern Vietnam by practicing responsible tourism! In the near future, a percentage of all room costs will be donated to a village in the Dong Van region to pay for books and school supplies for the local children.
