The city of Hue in Vietnam has plenty to offer travellers both inside the city and via daytrips by motorbike, bus or boat along the Perfume River. The many tombs, temples, pagodas and shrines in the area are definitely worth checking out and provide a fantastic insight into the regions history.
During our time in Hue, we chose to stay at Jade Hotel where they offer quality hotel accommodation, at budget prices. Jade Hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants, the Perfume River and the interesting Imperial City. Everything you need for a comfortable stay can be found at Jade Hotel and everything you want to visit in Hue is just a stones throw away!

The staff at Jade Hotel are incredibly friendly and their attention to guests needs is supreme. A wide range of activities and services are available for guests through the reception desk.
Laundry service, bus bookings, motorbike hire and tours are all available through reception and the staff are also happy to provide guests with a map of the area and some local dining recommendations. The hotel offers five different room types ranging from the Standard room at $18 USD per night to the Deluxe Family Room for four people at $42 per night. The large beds are super comfortable and the rooms are beautifully furnished. All rooms include private bathroom, secure safety box, hot shower, air-con, television, mini bar, kettle and the most wonderfully delicious breakfast! |

The mere thought of the breakfast at Jade Hotel makes me hungry! After seating you in the dining room, the staff provide you with a menu from which you may choose as much or as little as you like! The food options range from Vietnamese specialities such as Pho, noodles and dumplings to bacon and eggs, pancakes and a great variety of fresh fruits and juices!
Hue is a beautiful town where we saw some fantastic sights, tried delicious local specialties and had fantastic weather throughout our stay. Jade Hotel is a perfect accommodation choice and made everything about our time in Hue perfect.
