Fat Cat Hostel is run by a group of friendly local and expat staff who are always available to assist with any enquiries, hostel services or just to kick back and enjoy a beer with the guests at the end of the day. The dormitories are large rooms with high ceilings and beautiful big wooden beds, each covered by an individual mosquito net. During our stay, the showers had reliable hot water and towels are available from reception for a small fee. |
The hostel is kept spotless by the staff who work throughout the day to clean the rooms, make the beds and generally keep the place looking clean-as-a-whistle!
The comfortable lounge area not only provides guests with a relaxed place to use the Wi-Fi or read a book, but it also provides a wealth of information on other hostels, tours, destinations and activities throughout the country with plenty of brochures, maps and business cards so you can either make your arrangements from Kampala or take the information with you to make your decisions later! There is also a small DVD library and a shelf of second-hand books for sale at reasonable prices. |
The hostel offers extra services such as laundry, printing of documents and an airport pick-up/drop-off all for fair prices.
