Baan Rub Aroon guesthouse is quite simply stunning! Set amongst a lush garden in a beautifully renovated colonial house, this guesthouse is a perfect home-away-from-home for your visit to Chiang Rai.
Chiang Rai is a small yet bustling city, with excellent sight seeing, temples and trekking opportunities in the city and the surrounding region. There are fantastic markets everyday and a weekend Walking Street with live music, dance and performers. The famous White Temple, Wat Rong Khun, is 20 minutes from the city centre and easily accessible by public transport or taxi.

Baan Rub Aroon is far enough from the main street to be away from the hustle and bustle and yet it is a mere 10 minute walk to the centre of town. The guesthouse is run by the lovely Nong and her attentive staff who can help you with everything you need throughout your stay. The guesthouse offers laundry service, bicycle hire and cooking classes and can also organise trekking and sightseeing trips around Chiang Rai. Baan Rub Aroon can accommodate up to 20 guests in their eight private rooms. All rooms are beautifully decorated, come with fan, air-conditioning, WiFi and T.V, and a choice of private or shared bathroom. There is even a wonderful large family room with a private bathroom that can accommodate up to five guests. Being a colonial style house, the guesthouse offers everything guests could want from a home. There are plenty of relaxing sitting areas inside, two big balconies upstairs and a wonderful large garden where you can enjoy your breakfast or just read a book. |

There is even a kitchen available to guests wanting to cook their favourite foods from home or try out their Thai cooking skills! However with the wonderful included breakfast and complimentary tea and coffee, we didn’t get around to using it. If you enjoy the luxury of sleeping in a comfortable clean bed, with every home comfort imaginable, then this is the place for you. Far enough from the city centre to enjoy some peace and quiet and yet only a stones-throw from the bus stations, local markets and nearby temple, Baan Rub Aroon is waiting for you! |
