Funny House in Nha Trang, is a brand spanking, new hotel a mere 10 minutes walk from the white sands of the main beach and the bustling centre of town. Set just outside the heart of the city, Funny House provides a more residential atmosphere while offering clean, modern and well equipped rooms at budget prices. The main attraction in Nha Trang is the beautiful white 7km stretch of beach on which the town sits and of course the many islands dotted just off the coast. The islands are within easy distance for day trips and the closest one, Vinpearl houses an amusement park and is accessible by a fantastic overwater cable car!

Funny House currently has eight rooms available for rent either nightly, weekly or monthly. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, private bathroom and TV (with English movie channels!!) while the front facing rooms also have a small balcony. Complimentary toiletries are provided in the room along with fresh towels and plenty of hanging space inside the wardrobe. Two of the rooms even provide private kitchens, which is perfect for those looking for a long-term rental. The downstairs restaurant and bar at Funny House is incredible! Throughout our stay the restaurant was a hive of activity with a constant stream of satisfied customers. Every time we sat down, we had a glass of iced tea in front of us within seconds and a friendly staff member available to take our order. The professional and attentive staff make sure that dining is always a first class experience while the prices are super reasonable considering the quality of the food. We tried the crocodile on the recommendation of the manager Mr Dong and it was not only fantastic but at 55,000 VND it was also one of the best value meals we had during our time in Nha Trang! And do yourself a favour by trying their Vietnamese Coffee - it is the prefect kick start to a day of exploring! |

Mr Dong was always available to assist us with information about the town or the best activities to do during our stay. He organized a town map and scooter for us one day and the next we booked onto an island hopping cruise that included snorkeling, seafood lunch and a visit to a resort island (at an extra cost). Free parking for scooters and motorbikes is available directly outside Funny House with the added reassurance of 24 hour security guards. All the essentials such as laundry, onward bus tickets and even visa extensions can also be organized through Mr Dong’s nearby travel agency. For such a brand new hotel, Funny House seems to have reached perfection from the start! If you’re visiting Vietnam, Nha Trang MUST be on your list of places to see and while there, we absolutely recommend staying at Funny House! |
