Nestled in the upmarket suburb of Green Point, The B.I.G Backpacker is set in two side-by-side renovated houses, forming one B.I.G awesome backpacker pad! While the hostel offers secure car parking for those with cars, both the city and the infamous V & A Waterfront are within easy walking distance as are plenty of quality restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

For those who enjoy the warmth and social aspect of a typical South African braai, there is a large paved area outside where guests can braai for themselves or join the weekly braai night, expertly cooked and prepared by The B.I.G staff. A for those guests needing some well-earned time out, there are two AMAZING TV rooms with some of the comfiest couches I've ever felt and large flat screen TVs, magazines and books. There is also a good collection of brochures for activities around Cape Town, accommodation suggestions along the garden route and plenty of other maps and helpful information. |

Need to check your emails, book flights or research your next destination? No worries, The B.I.G has two computer stations available for guests to use as well as high speed, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. Outside, there are plenty of places for guest to chill, from the large, sunny pool surrounded by flowering trees and sun lounges to the braai area outside each of the kitchens. The B.I.G even offers pool/beach towels to guests for a small deposit making lazy pool days a reality! |

Finally, the entire property is surrounded by security fences, cameras and secure coded entrance gates so that guests have the peace-of-mind knowing that both they and their belongings are safe in this fantastic hostel!
